В статье рассматривается язык как совокупность знаков и как общественное явление. По мнению авторов, язык отражает как индивидуальное, так и общественное сознание, а его развитие находится в тесном взаимодействии с развитием общества. Авторами анализируются языковые единицы с точки зрения коммуникативного намерения говорящего и речевой ситуации, а также дается развернутая классификация оценочных определений, от выбора которых зависит воздействие на реципиента и понимание им содержания высказывания в совокупности его когнитивной и эмоциональной составляющих.
The article examines language as a set of signs and as a social phenomenon. According to the authors, language reflects both individual and social consciousness, and its development is closely linked to the development of society. The authors analyze linguistic units from the perspective of the speaker's communicative intention and the speech situation, and provide an extensive classification of evaluative definitions, the choice of which determines the impact on the recipient and their understanding of the content of the utterance, including its cognitive and emotional components.
